The Result of Years of Cooperation Between Scientists and Doctors:

a Precisely Defined Combination of Functional Scope and Depth.

Therapy decision support

Inclusion of treatment guidelines

Automated identification of treatment goals according to guidelines. Identification of the treatment steps and recommended treatment combinations. Local guidelines can be added.

Identification of a personalized optimal treatment

Automated identification of individually optimal therapy proposals, based on algorithms, predictions, evidence, patient specifics and summaries of product characteristics.

Multiple medical fields

Decision support for multiple medical fields and decision settings.

Contraindication check

Contraindications reported in summaries of product characteristics

Including: comorbidities, lifestyle specifics, patient’s information (age, gender, height, weight, ethnicity), medical procedures (past and future).

Laboratory value units conversion

Laboratory results are respected by the software. Possibility to adapt the units according to the analysis.

Diagnostics based laboratory results

The software contains simple diagnostic algorithms for cases where blood values alone are sufficient for the diagnosis.

Dose recommendations

Information about dosing and titration available.

Drug-drug interaction check

Under construction

Prediction of interactions based on summaries of product characteristics, metabolic pathways of active substances.

Drug-food interaction supported.

Coming soon: Prediction of metabolic pathways based on molecular structure (QSAR).

Therapy recommendations

Various parameters are necessary to determine the optimal therapy. In addition to considering contraindications and patient specifics, such as kidney damage, the recommendation algorithm takes into account the balance between effect and side effects, and makes recommendations based on these considerations.

The color coding - green for "recommendation", yellow for "suboptimal" and red for "contraindicated" - allows an efficient use of the software.

Therapy / evidence information

Different types of therapies - Coming soon

RAMPmedical includes extensive information (e.g. contraindications, prices, off-label-use) about drug-based and non-drug therapies (lifestyle intervention, education sessions, digital therapeutics, diet, surgery).

Therapy overview and comparison

Evidence about therapies is evaluated and standardized. Therapies can be ranked according to different endpoints, e.g. response rates, selectable efficacy endpoints (e.g,HbA1c, MACE, body weight, systolic blood pressure), off-label use, side effect frequency and price.

Study details

The evidence behind values is accessible. Sources are evaluated according to neutrality and methodology assessment algorithms.

Cohort / patient matching algorithm

An algorithm that matches cohorts from studies with the data of the particular patient.

Seamless Integration
Automated alert system

Digital health is progressing and provides the biggest benefit to patients, but doctors do not have the time to actively use many different computer programs in their daily work.

We integrate the decision support software seamlessly into the workflow of the doctor.

This allows doctors to actively access the software, but they are also notified if our system detects a mismatch based on patient data and therapy data or has a suggestion for improvement.

We adapt notifications and the algorithm, which decides when and to whom a notification is displayed, to the needs of the doctor or institution.

Technological information

We address interoperability specifications that are used as standard in medicine, e.g. FHIR or HL7, and can also adapt to individual interoperability specifications.

Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) is an interoperability specification for the digital exchange of healthcare information.

We prefer to use SNOMED and LOINC for the transmission of health data. ICD-10 data can also be processed in RAMPmedical. ICD-10 related inaccuracies are solved by conversion using proprietary algorithms.

RAMPmedical can be customized according to the requirements of the hospital.
